This Privacy Policy applies to the Otalky website, www.Otalky.com, the Otalky app, and the Otalky IVR system (hereinafter, "us", "we", or "Otalky"). By using Otalky, you, the user, accept the Privacy Policy. Together with the Terms and Conditions posted on our website, this Privacy Policy sets forth the general rules and policies governing your use of our services. Depending on your activities when using Otalky's services you may be required to agree to additional terms and conditions. Otalky may change its Privacy Policy from time to time and encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes. It is your responsibility to review the Privacy Policy periodically and to familiarize yourself with any modifications. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
At Otalky we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting personally identifiable information provided or collected through the use of our website and IVR system. We have adopted this Privacy Policy to explain what information may be collected, how we use this information, and under what circumstances we may disclose the information to third parties.
Otalky is the sole owner of the information collected through use of its services. Information may be collected automatically or may be provided by you when you create a membership or as you utilize Otalky's services.
While browsing prior to making a profile Otalky may automatically capture certain information such as your IP address, platform, operating system, browser information, and navigation through the site. Otalky's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how visitors use its website and services. We may use the data collected to remember information so that you will not have to re-enter it; to provide custom, personalized content and information, including targeted advertising; to provide and monitor the effectiveness of our services; to diagnose or fix technology problems; and to otherwise plan for and enhance our services. Otalky also collects personal information such as your name, geographic location, email address, age or birth date, gender, dating gender preferences to set up a membership account and to provide you with exemplary ongoing service. This personally identifying information may be used to process your membership account and/or to confirm your identity. Credit card number and billing information may also be collected. We do not sell or rent this information to other unaffiliated or third-party organizations. When you call our chatline and IVR system, we also collect and record your verbal user messages such as your greeting and other messages. You control how much personally identifying information you wish to provide in your greeting and other messages. Members communicate directly with each other through Otalky. Otalky has the right but not the obligation to monitor all customer data, messages and public postings. Where, in our sole discretion, customer data, messages and public postings violate this agreement, or any applicable law, or may negatively affect the goodwill of Otalky, this content may be deleted and/or reported to relevant authorities. We do not sell or rent this information to other unaffiliated or third-party organizations.
When you become a member of Otalky you have the right to receive information about your membership account. As a US Otalky customer who opts in to use our system, you have granted us the right to promote our services through SMS. You have the right to opt out and can do so at any time by replying "STOP" to our SMS message. You also have access to change and/or correct any data we have about you. You may unsubscribe from receiving email communication from Otalky at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link within any email from Otalky. After clicking the link, you will see a thank you page and will no longer receive emails containing promos, specials or content from Otalky. Please note that although you will be unsubscribed from receiving promos, specials, and content, you may continue to receive purchase-related notifications such as confirmation emails after making a web purchase. Please note that you are not permitted to unsubscribe or opt-out of non-promotional messages regarding your account, such as account verification, password or local area number requests, order confirmations, change or updates to features of the Service, or technical and security notices. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If your account becomes inactive, we will maintain your personal information in the event you wish to re-engage in our Service.
Otalky does not sell or rent your personally identifying information to other unaffiliated or third-party organizations. However, we may share your personal information with other companies owned by or under common ownership, which also include our subsidiaries (i.e., any organization we own or control) or our ultimate holding company (i.e., any organization that owns or controls us) and any subsidiaries it owns. Information may be shared with third party vendors, consultants, and other service providers that perform services on our behalf, in order to carry out their work for us, which may include identifying and serving advertisements, content or service fulfillment, or providing analytics services. These companies will use your personal information in the same way as we can under this Privacy Policy.
Otalky may on occasion provide your information to third parties at your request. For example, on our voice services, you may elect to be transferred to a third party after hearing a third-party advertisement and providing a keypress to continue to the third party's messaging. In that instance, we will transfer your phone number and the live call from our service to the third-party service and this Privacy Policy will no longer apply. Remember, our services allow you to connect with others and share information about yourself with other individuals. Consider your own privacy and personal safety when sharing your information with anyone. Also, when sharing information about others you meet through Otalky, please consider their safety and privacy and get their consent for that sharing.
Otalky may disclose any customer data in order to cooperate with relevant law enforcement authorities without further consent or notification to you, upon a lawful request from a Law Enforcement Agency. Information may be shared with appropriate third parties as required to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, subpoena/court order, legal process or other government request, enforce our Terms and Conditions, including the investigation of potential violations thereof, investigate and defend ourselves against any third party claims or allegations, protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Otalky, its users or the public as required or permitted by law and detect, prevent, or otherwise address criminal (including fraud or stalking), security or technical issues.
Otalky cares about the security of your information and uses commercially reasonable physical, administrative, and technological safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information we collect and that we share with our service providers. Sensitive information such as credit card data is encrypted and transmitted securely in accordance with the best encryption software standard (SSL). Your personal data is also protected offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g., Customer Service Support to verify identity) are granted access to personally identifiable information.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the security of our systems 100%. Persons under the age of 18 are not eligible to use Otalky's services. You must agree that you are over the age of 18 and be willing to provide verification, if requested. Otalky does not intentionally or knowingly collect information from or market to anyone under 18. If you become aware that personal information about a person under 18 has been provided to us, please immediately contact us.
In order to make your Otalky website and IVR system experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible, we use cookies.
